Prince William Sound, Alaska27 Jan 2017
Last summer we went driving around Alaska. One of our stops was Whittier, a small town of 400 situated deep inside Prince Wiliam Sound. We took a cruise ride to see some glaciers from the surrounding mountains emptying in the ocean. It was beautiful. It was a cloudy afternoon and we saw more than a handful of blue lit glaciers.
I did take a lot pics, but this particular pic is one of the few I’m proud of taking. The subtle blue glacier ice in the surrounding monochromatic landscape looks beautiful. The gray cloud trains along with the big black cloud add to the composition in my opinion.
